Possession of any amount of THC oil is a felony in Texas, which carries a recommendation for mandatory expulsion, placement in the Collin County Juvenile Justice Alternative Education Program and additional legal consequences. In addition, these devices can be outfitted with cartridges/pods to hold THC oil (a concentrated form of marijuana/cannabis extracts). Vaping is the act of ingesting oils that contain nicotine, often designed to be smokeless and odorless, from a small electronic device. Possession and use also violate the Plano ISD Student Code of Conduct and are subject to disciplinary action. The usage and possession of these products is prohibited at all Plano ISD campuses, buildings, school-related activities and events. Psychology researchers have said if-then statements and plans can work wonders for achieving goals and need to be reviewed regularly to ensure follow through. Then: the student will try to divide up the work evenly. If: Student is assigned to work with that particular person. Situation: Student does not enjoy working with a particular person. GOAL: To get along better with others and have less conflict. Then: the student will write it in their agenda to remember to study in advance. If: Student learns of an assessment coming up. Situation: Student forgets to prepare for assessments often. GOAL: To get better grades for the next grading period. IF you decide on a response in advance for how you are going to respond to something, THEN you will be more likely to react in accordance to your goal without conscious effort. THEN is a specific action or actions you can do as an immediate response. IF is a specific event you can respond to promptly. One way to help with goal setting is to use IF-THEN plans for certain situations. To achieve personal goals it is important to consider not only how to pursue them but also possible obstacles to attaining them. With the start of a new year and a new decade many take the opportunity to reflect on the past, and develop some goals for things to improve or new things to achieve in the coming year.
